Biomoda, Inc. Hires Anthony Nakhla, Ph.D. to Spearhead Manufacturing Efforts
Albuquerque, N.M. –(Business Wire), April 12, 2005 - Biomoda, Inc. and Anthony Nakhla Ph.D., have entered into an agreement for Dr. Nakhla to provide his research, development and manufacturing expertise to Biomoda for the manufacture of CyPath (Biomoda’s first diagnostic product) and future products. Dr Nakhla will collaborate with the Biomoda team with the objective of having CyPath manufactured by FDA and EU approved contract manufacturers.
The manufacture of CyPath is the next step in the commercialization of Biomoda’s first diagnostic product: a non-invasive test for lung cancer. Dr. Nakhla has extensive experience in transferring technology from the research and development stage to the manufacture of clinical material and beyond. His expertise will support Biomoda through this significant next step of commercialization.

Prior to his current
endeavors, Dr. Nakhla was employed by Cardinal Health’s contract manufacturing
division in
Biomoda, Inc., a development stage in-vitro diagnostics
organization, is focused on research, development and commercialization of
