Trademarks

Biomoda has developed proprietary expertise specific to preparation of the assay kit and its application.  Biomoda has been granted the Trademarks CyPath® and CyDx® for chemical agents and preparations for medical and clinical laboratory diagnostic use and assay kits containing chemical preparations for medical and clinical laboratory diagnostic use. Marketing of the Cypath® assay will be accomplished by training individual laboratories in the proper procedures for conducting the patented early lung cancer detection test. Biomoda intends to license with clinical laboratories as partners.   This is a strategic decision to protect our intellectual property by disclosing trade secret aspects only to licensed partners.  This strategy, in conjunction with the patents, will allow Biomoda to better protect its market position.
